Shimpo Jacob’s Chuck Grips Force Gauge Jig GC-20 is devised to firmly holding a test specimen with up to 500 Newton of force test. You can hold an object with radial symmetry, especially a cylinder which are slippery to grip with a flat clamp models. This jacob chuck is suitable for tensile and compression test on metal shaft, wire, cables, fiberous wires, fiber optic, ropes by turning its lock with a thumb key. This classic mechanism allows any digital or analog force gauge to run a precision testing of pull combination with either motorized-programmable force test or with manual pulling stand combination.

You can also clamp the lower end part of the specimen with regular locking vise while using this compact clamping attached to the force gauge connecting pin. Shimpo Jacob’s Chuck Grips Force Gauge Jig GC-20 is highly recommended for any Shimpo force gauge or any brands on your current workbench.
