Moore & Wright Digital Bore Gage SCTHXY3M-MW Series is devised as the most affordable solution for gage bore and internal diameter measurement. Built to conform to DIN 863, you can have a reliable accuracy of 0,004 mm and a maximum bore depth of 82 mm. The internal spring loaded Tungsten Carbide contact points (plunger/anvils) have been crafted for durability on the workshop floor that expands in the bore or groove without slip. This classic measuring device has its 2-point touch symmetrical anvils that protrude from the gauge body that is connected to the digital dial gauge mechanism. Compared to classic bore gauges which require operator skills to fine-tune its anvils, on this pistol grip bore gage, various diameters of the bore can be easily centered simply by the predictable lever action as it moves the anvils in or out. This simple gauge has a slipping mechanism to center and take the feel out of the device for increased reliability. Furthermore, you can also replace or use the existing dial gauge indicator accordingly to add data connectivity functions via RS232 cable or even the dial gauge with an analog display.
