Maykestag R2 Forte Series complies with DIN 1869. Maykestag R2 Forte Series DIN 1869 are made of new micro-grain-cobalt which produces higher hardness, heat endurance and bending strength. Maykestag manufactures Maykestag R2 Forte Series with the most up-to-date coating technology for your stability and wear resistance. The Maykestag's optimised tool geometry provides higher tool stability (even in unstable working conditions) and a higher surface quality of the material to be machined. Maykestag R2 Forte Series with 5% cobalt-alloyed is primarily used in the preparation of magnetic, wear-resistant and cutting of high-strength alloys. Maykestag R2 Forte Series DIN 1869 offer high efficiency drills which are fabricated with reinforced web and specially designed flute profile for better chip removal and deeper holes. Maykestag R2 Forte is suitable for steels of up to 1100 N/mm2.
