Koyo-Sha Open Double Cloth Bias Sisal Buff Disc is devised for multipurpose sisal buff application which requires moderate hardness for deburring, polishing of hair line surface for much finer surface treatment. This highly versatile buff disc has layered cloth and cotton with the conformity for uniform polishing surface in wide width polishing and irregular surface. Koyo-Sha Open Double Cloth Bias Sisal Buff Disc is highly recommended to be applied with the characteristics of treated and untreated for wide range of buffing and manual or with automatic polishing machine.
With approximate thickness of 17mm, this fine polishing wheel is capable of improvising attachment by its flanges onto lathe machine, manual drill, or any of your custom spindle machine with its special flanges/locking dope (sold separately). Koyo-Sha Open Double Cloth Bias Sisal Buff Disc is designed with open stitch on its outer cloth spindle which is optimized for 2600 rpm speed. You can work on many types of workpieces from aluminum alloy to stainless steel with moderate to higher polish level. Be advised that with proper selection of buffing cake, and polishing technic the versatility of this buff disc will give a much finer surface with the reflective coloring, especially when you want to immediately soften the hair surface finish on workpiece after cutting on milling machine

Wide Finger Sisal Buff is the buff with sisal cloth inserted in cotton cloths, then molded in loose pleats, fixed with a clinch ring in center infoldings and machine-sewn with moderate intervals.
Wide Finger Sisal Buff is suitable for cutting / cut & coloring of steel and stainless steel due to uniformity and moderate hardness when contacting with workpiece.
3 types according to stitching method. All buffs are treated.
A-Type : Standard (Sewing on spiral)
B-Type : 1 stitch (1cm from clinch ring)
C-Type : 2 stitches (1cm from clinch ring and middle part between periphery and clinch ring)

BLACK = Emery Compound, a coarse abrasive material for removal of scratches, pits, paint, rust etc.
BROWN = Tripoli compound used for general purpose cut and color on most soft metals.
WHITE = Blizzard compound, used for color and final finish of harder metals, has a cutting action.
RED = Jeweller’s Rouge, designed to polish without any cutting action. Safe on thin plates. Use your own wheel.
BLUE = A dryer, almost greaseless wheel - designed to polish without any cutting action. Safe on thin plates. Use your own wheel.
GREEN = Used exclusively for Stainless Steel.
