Quickly and easily evaluate the scratch resistance and relative hardness of coatings. 14 quality graphite pencils—6B to 6H hardness values in a protective case. Custom aluminum pencil sharpener specifically designed for the Pencil Hardness Test—includes 5 and 6 mm reference marks for precision graphite length. Comes complete with everything needed for testing. Optional Pencil Cart exerts a constant force of 7.35 N (~1.65 lbf) at the specified 45° angle (included with Complete Kit).
