Chennai Metco provides a complete solution for petrology, metallography and metallurgy inspection by various methods of grinding, polishing, and etching.
In the metallography process, after the specimen is fitted and properly sized (with any Chennai metco BAINCUT models) the next step will be preparing the specimen for fine surface polishing which is done with Chennai Metco BAINPOL ET. Then, to further analyse the image, you need the Chennai Metco Inverted Microscope Metscope 1.
Chennai Metco Metscope 1 is devised for a convenient checking on metallography analysis. You can simply put specimen with wider surface which has been polished onto the observation hole without touching or disrupting the lenses arrangement. Chennai Metco Metscope 1 is quipped with bright light source and condenser under the stage, while the objectives and turret are below the stage pointing up. The stage of Chennai Metco Metscope 1 is fixed, and focus is adjusted by simply moving the objective lens along a vertical axis stage to bring it closer to or further from the specimen. The focus mechanism itself has a dual concentric knob for coarse and fine adjustment.
Chennai Metco Metscope 1 is the expert choice for metallography analysis and observation with both the performance and value. Versatility of Chennai Metco Metscope 1 includes four to six objective lenses of different magnifications can be fitted to a rotating turret which also known as a nosepiece. Its trinocular feature can also be fitted with accessories for fitting still and video cameras, fluorescence illumination, confocal scanning and many other applications.
Chennai Metco Metscope 1 Features:
Magnification range is 100X to 1000X (on standard spec)
Classic design for reliabilty and user friendly application
Sturdy frame is made of casted iron for stable imaging
Suitable for specimen with wider surface size as the stage itself is 200mm x 152mm wide
Room lighting did not affect the imaging quality unlike the vertical model
The specimen can be moved by hands or fine tuning by the smoothly operated stage knobs without disrupting the optical barrel
Practical for maintenance and upgrades as they are built for highly customizable operation
High compatibility with light source of various makers
C-mount lens adapter also compatible with other applications
Trinocular feature is switchable and allows for further digital zoom, image analysis on the computer and share the image or simply for data record
Illumination with Q6V 20W halogen Koehler Illuminator, similar spec with Japanese and German microscope
