CV 'ROCKMATIC' Hardness Tester is the most practical instrument to measure both scale of Rockwell and Brinell scale. This instruments characterizes the indentation hardness of materials through the scale of penetration of an indenter, loaded on a material test-piece. The digital hardness tester is engineered with closed loop controlled load application for highly repetitive accuracy needed in materials science. The monocoque main body is made of rugged iron casting which incorporates a load cell, closed loop force actuator that provides continuous force feedback information to the advanced electronics.
Thanks to its user friendly interface combined with touchscreen LCD, the operator can now have an intuitive approach in measuring toughness of a material and the maximum amount of energy that the specimen can absorb before fracturing. This innovative instrument is equipped with motorised identer and record the measurement data on spreadsheet for further analyses on research or simply for traceable record on busy queue.
The new CV instruments Rockwell / Brinell Hardness Tester is the finest investment with the outmost value for many fabricators of cutting tools, as a complementary measurement of tensile testing, civil engineering, defense industry, tool-making, jig and mould, and testing laboratory as well. However, if you are looking for a specialist tester in a Brinell scale hardness, you might also wants to consider CV instruments Brinell Hardness Tester CV-3000LDB.

When quoting a Brinell hardness number (BHN or more commonly HB), the conditions of the test used to obtain the number must be specified. The standard format for specifying tests can be seen in the example "HBW 10/3000". "HBW" means that a tungsten carbide (from the chemical symbol for tungsten or from the Swedish/German name for tungsten, "Wolfram") ball indenter was used, as opposed to "HBS", which means a hardened steel ball. The "10" is the ball diameter in millimeters. The "3000" is the force in kilograms force. Be advised to get the suitable instruments on your application by simply send your inquiry to us
