CV instruments Magnetic Rockwell Tester - CV-MR01 is a magnetic base hardness tester designed according to the principle of Rockwell hardness testing. It is devised as the most practical instrument for onsite measurement of Rockwell hardness. The classic instruments characterizes the indentation hardness of materials through the scale of penetration of an indenter, loaded on a material test-piece load application for highly repetitive accuracy needed in materials science. The monocoque main body is made of rugged steel iron which incorporates a load cell absorbed by high magnetic attachment to the tested material which complies to ISO 6508 or ASTM E18 standards.
The test head can be fixed to the surface of iron and steel components by magnetic force simply by switching the lever. Support to the test piece is not required as the 350kg+ magnetic base will hold the unit firmly in position. Thanks to its manual approach, the operator can directly measure toughness of a material and the maximum amount of energy that the specimen can absorb before fracturing. This practical instrument is equipped with detachable identer and highly preffered by steel inspection company for remaining life analysis (RLA).
The portable CV instruments Rockwell Hardness Tester is comparable to a Rockwell bench hardness tester. You can have the finest investment with the outmost value as a complementary measurement of tensile testing, civil engineering, defense industry, tool-making, jig and mould, and testing laboratory as well. However, if you are looking for a regular bench top Rockwell scale hardness tester, you might also want to consider CV Instruments Basic Rockwell Hardness Tester CV-600A or the Rockwell Basic Digital Hardness Tester 600BDL/600MBDL/600MBDL/S.
CV instruments Rockwell / Brinell Hardness Tester Features:
Magnetic base hardness tester designed according to the principle of Rockwell hardness testing
Solid construction with easy calibration function
The test head can be fixed to the surface of iron and steel components by magnetic force
Magnetic base support direct attachment on steel beams and on-site test for remaining life analysis (RLA test)
Support to the test piece is not required as the 350kg+ magnetic base will hold the unit firmly in position
Accurately versatile and durable tester at a reasonable price
The testing accuracy complies to ISO 6508 or ASTM E18 and is comparable to a Rockwell bench hardness tester.
Testing can be done regardless of the shape of the component as long as there is a flat surface for positioning of the magnetic base
Able to test large-size workpieces which are assembled, unable to cut or inconvenient to move such as large-size moulds, steel plates, steel tubes, steel structures, pressure vessels, metallic pipe lines or the slide ways of machine tool
